Improve the wellbeing of  rural communities in Honduras

Project Purpose:

Increase household income in 5 rural farming communities in Honduras.

 

 

 A 20%  increase in household income measured in constant lempiras by 2010

50% of small holder  farmers in the 5 villages are participating in the network by 2010

Activities:

 Stakeholder meetings and program startup with Participatory Rural Appraisal

 

Build farmer training center

 

Conduct training of trainers (TOT) for teachers

Facilitate the formation of farming cooperatives
