Day 4

Please check Day Three  of this wiki for examples of Results Frameworks. Day Three  also includes three useful PowerPoints:

http://faculty.miis.edu/~levinger/dpmi-5.ppt (on indicators)
http://faculty.miis.edu/~levinger/dpmi-6.ppt (on the Results Framework)

Another PowerPoint,
http://faculty.miis.edu/~levinger/dpmi-7.ppt , will help you to better understand when to use your new tools within the overall Project Cycle and what the fundamental differences between the logframe and Results Framework are.

The focus of today's work (and part of tomorrow's) will be completion of the following deliverables for your country strategy:

1 Problem tree
1 RF that includes
  • 1 SO
  • 3 IRs (with indicators)
  • For at least 1 of the 3 IRs, 3 sub-IRs
A logframe based on the IR that includes sub-IRs. Your project does not necessarily have to be limited to this IR.

You will also need to complete an indicator worksheet for the IR for which you've developed sub-IRs.  Details and instruction on how to do this will be given on Day 5.

You may wish to create a Zoho Notebook to help you collect ideas and information for your project. If you choose to do this, please make your notebook public and post the link to it on your wiki workspace. The person who creates the notebook will have to choose the "share" option and invite (using the email addresses that appear in the wiki) other group members to collaborate. And, don't forget: only one person can input content at a time. Save your work before you relinquish control and have everyone do a screen refresh to see updates.

Finally, don't forget our lengthy discussion about opportunities (where priorities, needs and quick wins intersect). You might want to revisit the PowerPoint from Day 1 that discusses the quick wins idea.
